Birth Doula
A wonderful addition to the birthing process is a doula. Also, a doula is often referred to as a labour coach or assistant. I relax, support and encourage the soon-to-be mum during the labour process, and if present support and reassure her partner.
Postnatal Doula
A postnatal doula typically begins providing care in the home after the birth. Such care might include cooking for the mother, breastfeeding support, newborn care assistance, errands, light housekeeping, etc.
Overnight Doula
I can also provide overnight help allowing you to get some rest. Overnight help includes changing baby’s nappy, feeding and winding and settling baby back to sleep so that you can enjoy a night of undisturbed sleep.
